The Path of a Playwright:
A Collection of Very Short Plays by Sara Anne Scribner

Directed by Steve Stolee

Local actor, librarian and playwright, Sara Scribner, tells the story of her personal evolution as an emerging dramatic author through the performance of a series of very short plays she penned. A spicy gumbo of five to fifteen minute sketches based on her personal and family histories and her keen sense of observation. Generated over the last ten years from studies with writing mentors, teachers and workshops, these brief, intimate snapshots chart the path of the development of Scribner's craft and are accompanied by the artist's anecdotal commentary.
