Every other month, theatre lovers come together to share a potluck meal and read a play out loud.
Held the third Saturday of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 6:00 pm, these gatherings give everyone a chance to take part in the acting or simply to listen.
Interested in hosting a YoHo play reading at your house? Contact Tracy Dickerson at email@example.com.
Past YoHo plays have run the gamut from “classic” classics (like Ibsen’s A Doll’s House) to contemporary classics (like Tony Kushner’s Angels in America and Wendy Wasserstein’s Sisters Rosenzweig) to less well known, often quirky plays (like Indian Arm by Canadian playwright Hiro Kanagawa).
The food and drink are ample. The company’s fun. And the plays are moving, funny, thought provoking – everything you expect from theatre. Come join us!
